The Tattoo Fund money box is a natural bone-coloured resin skull covered in hand-painted tattoo flash: roses, swallows, a mermaid, dice, anchors, a butterfly, hearts and 'Tattoo Fund' across the forehead. It is a working coin bank, it is 22cm tall, and it is the gift for anyone who is always planning their next piece.
Every side of the skull is painted with traditional, tribal and illustrative tattoo designs in colour: a rose and swallow, a pin-up mermaid, a butterfly, dice, anchors, a dagger and a 'Love' heart.
Each skull is cast in resin and then painted by hand, so the colours have the depth of real tattoo flash rather than a printed decal.
Drop coins and notes in for the next appointment, a holiday, or a rainy day.
At 18 x 16 x 22cm it is a proper display piece on a shelf, desk or tattoo studio counter.
It suits gothic, rockabilly and alternative interiors, and looks just as good in a studio waiting room.
For birthdays, Christmas, or someone who has just booked their first tattoo.
Turn it around and there is another piece of flash on every side, so it stays interesting on a shelf.
It is the kind of object guests pick up and turn over. It suits a studio, a bar, a den or a bookshelf.
