Seek & Splash turns a swim into a game: someone holds up a card, and the kids dive to find the matching gems on the bottom of the pool. There are 64 bright plastic gems, 35 waterproof cards on a ring and a mesh bag to carry it all home. It's an easy pick for a summer birthday or a Christmas present that gets used the same afternoon.

One person is the card holder. They flip to a card on the ring and hold it up above the water, and the shapes on it show which gems to find. Everyone else scatters the gems, dives down and brings back the ones that match. Pop up, check the card again, go back for the rest. First to collect the full card picks the next one.
Each card shows a different set of gems, so a round never plays the same twice. The cards are waterproof and threaded on a single ring, which means they won't float off across the pool or get lost in the grass. Flip to a new one and the game starts over.
The 64 gems come in pink, green, orange, blue and more, in hearts, squares, ovals and other shapes. Against the blue of a pool floor they're easy to pick out, which keeps it fun for younger swimmers and still a race for the older ones.
The cousins are over, lunch is still going, and the kids have been in the water since ten. Hand one of them the ring of cards and tip the bag of gems in the deep end. You'll hear 'Again' for the next hour, and the adults get to finish their plates.
It's made for the backyard pool, and it travels too: the whole set goes back in the mesh bag for a trip to the beach, a holiday park pool or a hotel. The bag lets the water run straight out, so you can carry it home wet without soaking the car.
Scoop the gems into the mesh bag, hang it up to drip dry and the pool is clear. The box is 18 x 12 x 6 cm, small enough for a beach bag or a Christmas stocking.
Ages 6 to 99 says the box, and it means it: older siblings, parents and grandparents get pulled into rounds as well. As a gift it's ready to wrap, and with summer arriving it'll be played with straight away.
