A big 10-litre stainless steel pressure cooker for family-size batches, from one of the best-known names in pressure cooking.
Prestige has been making pressure cookers for decades, and the Deluxe Alpha is its stainless steel range. This 10-litre size is made for big family meals, batch cooking and stocks. The thick Alpha base works on induction and gas, and a pressure indicator tells you when it's safe to open the lid.
Room for a whole family meal, a big pot of curry, soup or stock, or a week's worth of batch cooking in one go.
The base is a steel-aluminium-steel sandwich that covers the whole bottom of the cooker, spreading heat evenly without hot spots. It works on induction as well as gas and electric cooktops.
A pressure indicator shows when the pressure has dropped and it's safe to open, and a metallic safety plug and gasket release system add a further layer of protection.
The lid sits over the top of the body and locks in place, which makes it easy to fit and lift off.
Cool-touch handles, fixed with two screws, give a firm grip when the cooker is full and heavy.
