The Pear Shaped Wool Cat Cave by Namaste Artisans is a handmade felt cat bed shaped like a ripe pear: a soft sage green body, a dark brown felt stem, a detailed green leaf and a heart-shaped doorway. It is hand-felted from 100% New Zealand wool by women artisans in Nepal, self-warming and breathable, and it looks like a piece of decor rather than a pet bed.
100% New Zealand wool naturally traps body heat, keeping cats warm without any synthetic filling.
The enclosed shape gives cats a quiet, den-like place to rest and hide. Cats who love boxes tend to love caves.
Wool regulates temperature naturally, cosy in winter and not stuffy in summer.
The opening is 20–22cm across: wide enough for a large cat to get in and out comfortably, snug enough to feel private.
About 50–52cm across and 30–32cm tall. It fits a large cat, or two smaller cats who get along.
The pear silhouette, felt stem and leaf make it a sculptural piece that works with botanical, Scandi and natural interiors.
Each cave is hand-felted by skilled women artisans in Nepal, with no harsh chemicals, in Sedex-audited, fair-trade production.
Because each cave is hand-felted, small variations in shape, size, colour and finish are normal. Measurements are approximate.
Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild wool-safe soap. Do not machine wash, soak or tumble dry. Reshape by hand while damp and air dry in the shade. A lint roller or soft brush lifts fur.
